Where Your Donation Goes

    Donations fund round-trip flights and ground transportation for selected veterans, removing financial and geographic barriers to participation. This ensures veterans can focus fully on the program rather than the cost or complexity of travel.

    Contributions provide safe, comfortable housing for veterans throughout the full week in Aspen. Stable lodging supports rest, recovery, and predictability—key elements for participants managing PTSD or TBI.

    Donations cover nutritious, thoughtfully planned meals during the program week. Reliable access to healthy food supports physical energy, mood stability, and overall well-being during intensive mountain activity.

    Funding supplies properly fitted skiing or snowboarding equipment, adaptive gear as needed, and required safety equipment such as helmets. This ensures every participant can engage confidently and safely, regardless of prior access to gear.

    Donations support WAVi brain assessments, right-eye evaluations, data collection and analysis, and essential study staffing. This category ensures the program generates credible, measurable evidence to inform VA alignment and future expansion.

    Funding provides lift tickets, certified instructors, mountain guides, and on-hill logistics support. These resources create a structured, safe, and supportive environment where veterans can focus on presence, progression, and confidence rather than logistics.
